Musn Grumble may be booked for a minimum of TWO WEEKS - usually Saturday to Saturday.
This is partly due to water conservation within the Tinsley flight of locks, and partly because you're not really going to get very far within one week, as two days will be spent going down, and then up the Tinsley Flight of locks.
However, if you don't mind only getting as far as Thorne before turning around and coming back, ONE WEEK bookings may be possible at short notice in liaison with British Waterways.

You may board any time from 16.00hrs and should aim to disembark by 12 noon.
Depending upon availability we're happy to be flexible on times and dates an can offer additional nights pro-rated. (Should you require extra nights prior to or after your holiday and we do not have availability, we can refer you to local hotelboat operators or other 'land based' local hotels.)
Similarly, dependent upon availability, we can offer short-breaks and long-weekend 'getaway' adventures, however these will need to be in close liaison with British Waterways if passage through Tinsley Flight is required as water management issues may prevail.
We are also happy to offer reasonable discounts for last minute bookings where we have availability.
