The London 2012 Olympic Games has prompted a number of enquiries regarding the availability and viability of hiring boats as accommodation during the Games.

Although we know that improving the local waterways is a central part of the regeneration plans for Stratford (the part of London to be used for the Games), we do not have any clear indication of mooring availability prior to, or during the Games.

There are likely to be some strict security measures in place around the Olympic village which could also prevent mooring.

Basically, we don't know what the position will be, and can only therefore advise potential customers to make their own direct enquiries prior to booking as we cannot guarantee you will be able to moor, or access the Games from the local waterways.
